The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heemskerk AC's Ludomil Chazen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ádám Madaras in the 4th minute of play. Pénzügyőr SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Ádám Madaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomil Chazen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Iratxo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Iratxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, György Keserű mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pénzügyőr SE and the Heemskerk AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute Balázs Vén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Heemskerk AC booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Berta didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Ludomil Chazen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ferdinánd Nyilasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Japola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pénzügyőr SE's Róbert Sárosi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pénzügyőr SE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
