An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Cointe in the 34th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Angelino Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žydrūnas Danielius having to interfere. Angelino Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faudel Langlois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Herauso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
