The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hermínio Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ian Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. FF Små Gröna Män's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Larsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eriberto Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Larsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Eriberto Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jan Larsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Ahlbom in the 22nd minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Pinheiro having to interfere. André Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Marcos da Fonseca scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Åke Nordlander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eriberto Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jan Larsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Ahlbom in the 47th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Eriberto Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jan Larsson made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Åke Nordlander made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gilson Braga sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Dick Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Hagberg came free, but Eriberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Dick Hagberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Pinheiro. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Hagberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 69 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Hagberg came free, but Eriberto Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FF Små Gröna Män's Jan Larsson. But to his dismay, Jan Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 75th minute Dick Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eriberto Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Kilström in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ian Ahlbom made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Pinheiro. Ricart Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Eriberto Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Hagberg in the 87th minute of play.
