Jules Cointe kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Aílton Corrêa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Žydrūnas Danielius. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Žydrūnas Danielius should have stopped the shot. Eriberto Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Guignard in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Francis Ponchel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Pinheiro. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francis Ponchel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 16th minute Francis Ponchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Guignard didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jules Cointe fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Saubrigues's protests and gave Jules Cointe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Jules Cointe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marquinhos Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricart Futebol Clube's protests and gave Marquinhos Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Marquinhos Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Marcos da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žydrūnas Danielius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jules Cointe got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 32nd match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Cointe to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žydrūnas Danielius having to interfere. Žydrūnas Danielius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes, Morgan Guignard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Saubrigues and the Ricart Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aílton Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Žydrūnas Danielius having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aílton Corrêa made a kick off. Žydrūnas Danielius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 52 minutes, Aílton Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aílton Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Žydrūnas Danielius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ricart Futebol Clube. Morgan Guignard was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 57th minute, Aílton Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Francis Ponchel had to leave the field with a concussion. 60 minutes into the game, Gilson Braga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saubrigues the free kick. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gilson Braga hit a great ball. Žydrūnas Danielius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Žydrūnas Danielius managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Ricart Futebol Clube's Aílton Corrêa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Žydrūnas Danielius got control of the ball when Aílton Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Aílton Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aílton Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Saubrigues's Žydrūnas Danielius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Corrêa in the 91st minute of play. Aílton Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Žydrūnas Danielius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricart Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
