The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Dudu Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Brito was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute of the game Luiz Quadros made a throw-in which Percy de Azevedo played forward. Dudu Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sergipano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes, Kléberson Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compugraf and the Bezerros EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kléberson Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bezerros EC's Dedé Loyola shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Chico Fernandez but with some difficulty. 22 minutes into the game, Luiz Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bezerros EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compugraf the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Soares to maneuver through the defense. When Dudu Soares came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Compugraf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Soares couldn't finish the play. Edinho Corrêa's late challenge caught a Compugraf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Compugraf booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerros EC's zone, Kléberson Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Brito came out of the goal and Kléberson Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, Compugraf's Dudu Soares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Luiz Quadros got a free kick in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Dudu Soares notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bezerros EC's Gino Brito. Gino Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, Compugraf's Dudu Soares made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 48 minutes, Dedé Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezerros EC and the Compugraf players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Loyola to maneuver through the defense. The Bezerros EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Compugraf were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dudu Soares came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Compugraf fans jumped to their feet. Chico Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy de Azevedo in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Pedro Luiz Pinheiro got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 100th minute, Dudu Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bezerros EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Compugraf were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
