Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Uter in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Sven Uter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brice Leach. Varennes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Uter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eleven Nation Army would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
