Taurino Caraballo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Leones FC's Dalmacio Caldueño threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aloisio Munet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloisio Munet in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Caldueño saved Club Olimpia from getting behind. Aloisio Munet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Maurino Estades charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurino Estades the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurino Estades. In the 24th minute, Foro Constante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Aloisio Munet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloisio Munet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aloisio Munet hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Maurino Estades got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 47th minute Cebo Morejon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taurino Caraballo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Dalmacio Caldueño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lugo Manes in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Lugo Manes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leones FC's Valentin Folle got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taurino Caraballo was a little too slow when Cebo Morejon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 63rd minute Cebo Morejon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taurino Caraballo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Cebo Morejon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taurino Caraballo. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cebo Morejon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Leones FC's Taurino Caraballo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Aquiles Saavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Cano's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Cano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alan Cano hit a great ball.
