An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Coffman in the 4th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Wade Stacy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes Varennes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruben Romano who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Charlotte FC's Dudley Vickers getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Charlotte FC's Ruben Romano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lee Coffman took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wade Stacy. Wade Stacy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Charlotte FC defense, Ellsworth Lindsay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wade Stacy. The Charlotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wade Stacy should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Lee Coffman notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Charlotte FC's Wade Stacy. Wade Stacy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ellsworth Lindsay came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Varennes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ellsworth Lindsay couldn't finish the play. Owen Purcell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellsworth Lindsay to maneuver through the defense. When Ruben Romano fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gale Laliberté helped the player get up and apologised. Wade Stacy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Lee Coffman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varennes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Wade Stacy came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Varennes's Randell McCullough. But to his dismay, Randell McCullough quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ellsworth Lindsay was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Varennes's Gale Laliberté nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wade Stacy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Varennes's Owen Purcell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wade Stacy. That made the score 0-9 after 60 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Purcell in the 63rd minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Wade Stacy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Purcell came free, but Wade Stacy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Johnathan Mohr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlotte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes the free kick. In the 64th minute, Johnathan Mohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wade Stacy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ellsworth Lindsay went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Lee Coffman scored 0-11 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wade Stacy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedric Frazier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wade Stacy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lee Coffman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 83 minute of play. Dudley Vickers's late challenge caught a Varennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wade Stacy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Owen Purcell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wade Stacy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wade Stacy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Coffman in the 98th minute of play. Wade Stacy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Coffman in the 98th minute of the match.
