Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aloisio Munet made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tancredo Erce came free, but George Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taurino Caraballo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Kullander went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Med Gang FC's George Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Folle in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Med Gang FC defense, Lugo Manes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Tomasson. The Med Gang FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Tomasson should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Lugo Manes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Tomasson. Med Gang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lugo Manes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lugo Manes took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Tomasson. George Tomasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Taurino Caraballo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Emanuel Vedholm sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Aloisio Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Valentin Folle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 30th minute, Valentin Folle made a precise shot to the right of George Tomasson. Med Gang FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Emanuel Vedholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Taurino Caraballo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Med Gang FC's George Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lugo Manes in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloisio Munet in the 38th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Tomasson came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones FC's Valentin Folle. But to his dismay, Valentin Folle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 45th minute Lugo Manes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Folle came free, but George Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Vedholm made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Aloisio Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Folle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Tomasson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloisio Munet in the 65th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloisio Munet. Lugo Manes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but George Tomasson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Valentin Folle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Tomasson. Med Gang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Folle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Taurino Caraballo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tancredo Erce. Taurino Caraballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, Med Gang FC's Emil Björkqvist made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taurino Caraballo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leones FC were furious when Simon Maseda was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Med Gang FC a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edvard Fågel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leones FC's Taurino Caraballo. 3-8. 93 minutes into the match, Lugo Manes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Tomasson. Med Gang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lugo Manes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Folle in the 96th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper George Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leones FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
