C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Tostão Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Charlotte FC's protests and gave Roger Dobbs a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Dobbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Romano got free with Umberto Cruz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Dobbs was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 18th minute, Roger Dobbs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Cedric Frazier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Charlotte FC's Ruben Romano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ruben Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedric Frazier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Umberto Cruz having to make a save. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cedric Frazier sped through C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umberto Cruz.

Dieguinho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wade Stacy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Romano in the 54th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedric Frazier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Barral. Johnathan Mohr kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Ruben Romano in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Frazier in the 65th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Romano in the 77th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Miranda. Cedric Frazier took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Umberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnathan Mohr went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
