Camillo Sciotto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ellsworth Lindsay's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ellsworth Lindsay sped through Acilia Town's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camillo Sciotto. Camillo Sciotto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owen Purcell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ellsworth Lindsay in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Sciotto saved Acilia Town from getting behind. Varennes were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Acilia Town's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Randell McCullough took the corner. Varennes's Randell McCullough was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camillo Sciotto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Varennes booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Lee Coffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Villa in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Lee Coffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varennes's supporters rose to their feet, but Lee Coffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Sciotto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ellsworth Lindsay sped through Acilia Town's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camillo Sciotto. Brice Leach made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bernardo Genovesi sent off a good shot on target. The Varennes fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 43 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Purcell came free, but Camillo Sciotto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Sciotto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Armando Teodori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellsworth Lindsay made a kick off. The supporters of Varennes booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Castagna didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Randell McCullough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irving Dugan to maneuver through the defense. When Acilia Town's Bernardo Genovesi in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varennes's goalie prevented a goal. Acilia Town's Camillo Sciotto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Acilia Town from getting a goal against them. Camillo Sciotto made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gale Laliberté sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Villa in the 73rd minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Coffman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Acilia Town defense, Ellsworth Lindsay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Sciotto. The Acilia Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Sciotto should have stopped the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Armando Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acilia Town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acilia Town's Camillo Sciotto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Acilia Town from getting a goal against them. Ellsworth Lindsay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Camillo Sciotto made a huge save. Armando Villa struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Brice Leach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acilia Town. When the final whistle sounded Varennes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Acilia Town.
