An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Balotelli in the 45th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quentin Odoardo took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Balotelli to strike the kick off in the second half. When Enrico Cicero fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Viola Gigliati's protests and gave Enrico Cicero a yellow card for diving instead. Enrico Cicero hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Odoardo came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilazki Esquivel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Dunixi Bueno replaced Frutos Sator. After 77 minutes, Timeteo Surco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Viola Gigliati and the Nye players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Surco.
