Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) CLC Winter's Antonio Vieri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Grzegorz Lagiewniki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Righi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Gdowik hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Aleksander Gdowik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Gdowik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CLC Winter fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when CLC Winter's Antonio Vieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st match minute, CLC Winter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Vianello to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Arrigo Righi managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Grzegorz Lagiewniki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the game, Aleksander Gdowik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLC Winter the free kick. In the 24th minute, Aleksander Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Antonio Vieri sped through LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaroslaw Wojno. After 30 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Vieri. In the 31st minute, Andrzej Lewicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Mazza came free, but Jaroslaw Wojno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aleksander Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aleksander Gdowik managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Gdowik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Righi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Balboni in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslaw Wojno saved LIRA ELBLĄG SSA from getting behind. Antonio Vieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aleksander Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arrigo Righi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Vieri in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaroslaw Wojno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Grzegorz Lagiewniki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 59 in the game by Antonio Vieri from a close distance when the talented Jaroslaw Wojno managed to make a qualified save. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's players were relieved. Arrigo Righi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Gdowik in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Gdowik in the 67th minute of play forced CLC Winter's goalkeeper Arrigo Righi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Gdowik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Vieris short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Jaroslaw Wojno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, Alex Vianello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jaroslaw Wojno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Maciej Kaczynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd play minute Antonio Vieri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jaroslaw Wojno. 0-5. Grzegorz Lagiewniki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslaw Wojno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Vieri in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes LIRA ELBLĄG SSA got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Kaczynski. In the 90th minute, Jaroslaw Fink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaroslaw Wojno acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dario Ceccarelli. The CLC Winter supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CLC Winter would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
