Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nichifor Hurezan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Costel Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Nordström hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wolves Academy getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sergiu Manciulea hit a great ball. George Zglobiu lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Gabriel Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Wolves Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Logofătu couldn't finish the play. If Sergiu Manciulea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Stoiculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Hedvall in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Logofătu in the 18th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Björklund in the 22nd minute of play forced Wolves Academy's goalkeeper Emilian Stoiculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Costel Mutu took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Philip Hedvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Västerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Stoiculescu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Leontin Hăvârneanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Sergiu Manciulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Albäck having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip Hedvall to make the kick off. Costel Mutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Albäck having to interfere. Costel Mutu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Manciulea in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nye's Erik Hamberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ulrik Axelsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Logofătu. Gabriel Logofătu succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Nye's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sergiu Manciulea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Manciulea in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Nye's Philip Hedvall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilian Stoiculescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Wolves Academy's Costel Mutu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Markus Albäck. That made the score 2-4 after 95 minutes of play.
