Baltazar Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bianco Iachini's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Dadá Dias collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Arturo Cinque fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broom of the System DA13's protests and gave Arturo Cinque a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Broom of the System DA13 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arturo Cinque hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Bianco Iachini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Broom of the System DA13's Ercole Giordano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Valladares in the 15th minute of play. Bianco Iachini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Paranaense having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Mastrangelo came free, but Baltazar Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Mastrangelo in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Iachini came free, but Baltazar Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Danilo Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Giordano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Iachini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Baltazar Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Broom of the System DA13 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Valladares to strike the kick off in the second half. MelissaMel's Danilo Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bianco Iachini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Baltazar Paranaense made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, Broom of the System DA13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Iachini to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, MelissaMel's Baltazar Paranaense got control of the ball when Bianco Iachini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltazar Paranaense was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Cesare Aquilino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesare Aquilino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Bianco Iachini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Paranaense having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Ciccio Di Ruscio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Broom of the System DA13's Cesare Aquilino got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Danilo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MelissaMel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MelissaMel! The Broom of the System DA13 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Broom of the System DA13 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
