Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nildo Pereira took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Maria Pontes came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grosso United's Reynaldo Pietro. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Pietro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bata Palma scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Romo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Nando Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Pereira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 21st playminute. Nildo Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Saturnino Romo made a huge save. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Grosso United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of COURO COME FC:s goal. Nildo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes of play, COURO COME FC's Bata Palma made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Romo was left in no man's land by his defense there! COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Quin in the 36th minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nildo Pereira sped through Grosso United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saturnino Romo. Duarte Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Peyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nando Ceresso's late challenge caught a Grosso United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. 56 minutes into the game, Nildo Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Saturnino Romo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saturnino Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Ceresso in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Hélio Furtado got a free kick in the 61st minute. COURO COME FC's Túlio Arantes was substituted for Nando Ceresso. Hélio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Pereira in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, COURO COME FC's Túlio Arantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Romo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 71 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Severo came free, but Saturnino Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Pietro in the 73rd minute. Reynaldo Pietro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, José Maria Pontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes got control of the ball when Godofredo Manny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgilio Quin charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Quin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Virgilio Quin hit a great ball. Álvaro Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Leandro Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bruninho Rodrigues hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Quin in the 88th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Pereira in the 95th minute of play.
