The referee ignored Uptown Otters's protests and gave Fabian Kaszubowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Uptown Otters got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Kaszubowski. In the 24thth minute of the game Liviu Zubaşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Zubaşcus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Ademar Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Liviu Zubaşcu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Zubaşcu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ademar Leme didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Uptown Otters's Liviu Zubaşcu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 34 minutes into the match, Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Zubaşcu. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim Botânico from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Zubaşcu made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Liviu Zubaşcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Jardim Botânico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vladimir Almeida hit a great ball. Rolando Tearle took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Leme. Ademar Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 60 minutes of play, Uptown Otters's Liviu Zubaşcu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Kaszubowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Leme saved Jardim Botânico from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Eusebiu Surdilă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uptown Otters made a substitution. Carter Campese replaced Fabian Kaszubowski. Uptown Otters's Staffan Bergman was substituted for Karl-Oskar Jonsson. Staffan Bergman hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Tião Secco. 81 minutes into the match, Carter Campese had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Leme. Jardim Botânico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carter Campese was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 88th minute, Liviu Zubaşcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uptown Otters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very nice done corner allowed Nico Rezende to score against Ademar Leme in Jardim Botânico's goal. 8-0 after 97 minutes. Uptown Otters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
