Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute Patricio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Del Vecchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Villa Gordiani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Franja Dorada were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Sagrario. Ciro Del Vecchio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Venancio Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Iachini to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 78 in the game by Urbano Sagrario from a close distance when the talented Ciro Del Vecchio managed to make a qualified save. Villa Gordiani's players were relieved. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Goito in the 79th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Franja Dorada's Gustavo Goito made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Del Vecchio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franja Dorada's Alfonso Palban was substituted for Urbano Sagrario. Venancio Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With his leg Ciro Del Vecchio managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Franja Dorada's Alfonso Palban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Palban in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Del Vecchio saved Villa Gordiani from getting behind. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-8 when Alfonso Palban sped through Villa Gordiani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. The Villa Gordiani supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Franja Dorada's performance. The match ended with a win for Franja Dorada.
