Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) 3 minutes into the game, Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vágner Sergipano had several of the Jardim Botânico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ademar Leme as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ademar Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Félix in the 10th minute of the match. Vágner Sergipano came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ademar Leme could save by the left post. Ademar Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's 毛风振 got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jardim Botânico's Pedro Paulo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Academy's Rubens Félix shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ademar Leme but with some difficulty. A collision led to Jardim Botânico getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gonçalo Valle hit a great ball. After 19 minutes of play, Belo Academy's Carlos Alberto Leal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Márcio Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Vágner Sergipano put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ademar Leme. Vágner Sergipano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademar Leme came out and tried to block the shot, but Vágner Sergipano slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Vágner Sergipano lined in a short shot 7-0 behind a frustrated Ademar Leme. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Vágner Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. The Belo Academy fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Leme came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Belo Academy's Paulo Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Paulo Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Vágner Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Leme should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute Carlos Alberto Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Sergipano in the 69th minute of the match. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 70th minute of play. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79th play minutes Vágner Sergipano shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Ademar Leme and just under the crossbar into goal. Belo Academy's Paulo Figueiredo pulled a muscle in his back after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 85 minutes into the game, Serginho Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jardim Botânico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belo Academy the free kick. Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra was substituted for Paulo Figueiredo. In the 86th minute, Serginho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademar Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ademar Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Douglas Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademar Leme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 93rd minute of play forced Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vágner Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belo Academy had won after a very even match.
