Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Calistrat Şerbănescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jaroslav Kaczynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Şerbănescu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 9th match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Zuraw to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Calistrat Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Kaczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig got control of the ball when Krzysztof Dudzik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kryspin Giejda came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Illuminati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kryspin Giejda couldn't finish the play. Eric Astafei hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 33rd minute of play forced Illuminati's goalkeeper Jaroslav Kaczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Illuminati's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Istodor took the corner. Jaroslav Kaczynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Istodor in the 36th minute of play. Illuminati's Jaroslav Kaczynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 44th minute of play. Calistrat Şerbănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Edmund Cetnar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Damian Cârlan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca. Calistrat Şerbănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jaroslav Kaczynski made a huge save. After 66 minutes, Edmund Cetnar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illuminati and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Illuminati's Edmund Cetnar got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calistrat Şerbănescu got free with Jaroslav Kaczynski in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Damian Cârlan got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Illuminati's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Şerbănescu came free, but Jaroslav Kaczynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Illuminati's Kryspin Giejda got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Istodor. Calistrat Şerbănescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jaroslav Kaczynski 94 minutes into the match. The Illuminati fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
