Saverio Galtero hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Matias Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Del Vecchio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Rubio's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Venancio Cordearo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Rubio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Dennis Stumpo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernado Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Villa Gordiani defense, Venancio Cordearo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. The Villa Gordiani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Del Vecchio should have stopped the shot. Venancio Cordearo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Del Vecchio. Ciro Del Vecchio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Biscotti to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Cordearo came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Cordearo in the 32nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Fidel Izel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio. Ciro Del Vecchio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fabrizio Melfi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Gordiani's protests and gave Fabrizio Melfi a yellow card for diving instead. Fabrizio Melfi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Ramond to make the kick off. Fernado Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Bearzot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Cordearo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Del Vecchio. Ciro Del Vecchio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Tomás Quinten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 73rd playminute. Venancio Cordearo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Del Vecchio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Cordearo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Severiano Rubio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Cordearo in the 80th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegale De Puntín's Fernado Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Bearzot in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Pegale De Puntín booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Biscotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Cordearo came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Venancio Cordearo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Del Vecchio came out of the goal and Venancio Cordearo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Saverio Galtero in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villa Gordiani's Alberigo Biscotti.
