The crowd rose to their feet as Illuminati's Zbyszko Wincek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Renato Dracena. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Jaroslav Kaczynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Belo Academy's Paulo Renato Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Giejda in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leopoldo Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belo Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaroslav Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Breno Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Lech Kaczynski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Belo Academy's Paulo Renato Dracena didn't even have to move. Józef Pilsudski charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Józef Pilsudski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Illuminati getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Józef Pilsudski hit a great ball. After 33 minutes of play, Belo Academy's Leopoldo Senna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaroslav Kaczynski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the game, Rubens Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belo Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Illuminati the free kick. Rubens Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Figueiredo. Paulo Renato Dracena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kryspin Giejda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Breno Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Kaczynski in the 54th minute of play. Rubens Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute of the match Lech Kaczynski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Renato Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Józef Pilsudski to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Illuminati's goalkeeper Jaroslav Kaczynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vágner Sergipano. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rubens Félix hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Józef Pilsudski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Renato Dracena. Belo Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Józef Pilsudski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 80 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Sergipano. 82 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Giejda came free, but Paulo Renato Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when Illuminati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Józef Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Vágner Sergipano took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Jaroslav Kaczynski to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maksymilian Klewinski during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Belo Academy's Douglas Ferraz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jaroslav Kaczynski. Jaroslav Kaczynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Sergipano in the 97th minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Vágner Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belo Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vágner Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
