Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Falcão Gaspar started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Werneck FC - DMZ's Breno Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Caco Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Meireles having to interfere. With a little luck, Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles got control of the ball when Caco Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caco Corrêa had several of the Bandeirinha AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Teodoro Meireles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Breno Zonta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodoro Meireles came out and tried to block the shot, but Breno Zonta slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Zonta in the 28th minute of play. Teodoro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Breno Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gláuber Fernandes hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Werneck FC - DMZ's Teodoro Meireles threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Breno Zonta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodoro Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Corrêa to make the kick off. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Corrêa in the 52nd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Freitas came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's Breno Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Renatinho Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandeirinha AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Werneck FC - DMZ the free kick. Renatinho Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Zé Paulo Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles didn't even have to move. In the 65th minute Breno Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Queiroz was a little too slow when Falcão Gaspar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 4-1. If Tiago Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Fabiano Massa got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Jacinto das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Werneck FC - DMZ's protests and gave Jacinto das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jacinto das Neves hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Freitas came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Corrêa in the 86th minute of play. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Corrêa in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gabriel da Rocha hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes, Werneck FC - DMZ's Mário Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Werneck FC - DMZ reached it. In the 90th minute, Mário Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvinho Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Werneck FC - DMZ were the better team. Werneck FC - DMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
