But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Martin Falaise. But to his dismay, Martin Falaise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Teodoro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspard Letourneux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspard Letourneux during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bandeirinha AD booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspard Letourneux didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Gaspard Letourneux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspard Letourneux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Davy Giacomoni could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Teodoro Meireles however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Bandeirinha AD defense, Davy Giacomoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Meireles. The Bandeirinha AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Meireles should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Giacomoni was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Cloarec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramiro Coutinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Gaspard Letourneux got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bandeirinha AD's Gláuber Fernandes got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyril Chevron in the 60th minute of play forced Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Gaspard Letourneux got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Gaspard Letourneux off the ground. Gaspard Letourneux hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Renato Velloso hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Silvinho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec got control of the ball when Ramiro Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvinho Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
