Gurdurão's Dalmo Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Pedro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Giliamsen in the 4th minute of play. Gurdurão's Wilson Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano de Sousa in the 6th minute of play. João Pedro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Amaral in the 9th minute of play. Gurdurão were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Fala Sério FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmo Santos took the corner. Dalmo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. João Pedro do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas de Amaral came free, but João Pedro do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fala Sério FC's João Pedro do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Cabral in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Dalmo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Dalmo Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gurdurão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fala Sério FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Dalmo Santos got a free kick in the 35th minute. João Pedro do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Giliamsen in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Giliamsen in the 42nd minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper João Pedro do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Afonso Pitta got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dalmo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fala Sério FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Léo Pelé hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmo Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fala Sério FC's João Pedro do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Santos in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th play minute Dalmo Santos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Pedro do Nascimento. 0-1. In the 61st minute, Douglas de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fala Sério FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Dalmo Santos scored to the left of an out of position João Pedro do Nascimento, making the score, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Gurdurão's Dalmo Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Pedro do Nascimento. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. Dalmo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. João Pedro do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Elano de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurdurão's Wilson Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Dalmo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match, Sandrinho Cabral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Pedro do Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elano de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wilson Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Pedro do Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but Dalmo Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Gurdurão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fala Sério FC throughout the match.
