Spectators: 7604 (Terracing: 5704, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atlético-PR's Ren Ang Ming quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hector Gonsalvo, made in the 3rd minute of the game. La Vieja Guarida FC's Omar Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Sampaio in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Atlético-PR were awarded a corner. Ren Ang Ming went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ren Ang Ming almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Vieja Guarida FC's Omar Jorrin did a great save. Eulalio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Aritza in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Nemesio Cordarell got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Perivaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedrinho Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético-PR's Eulalio Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Natanael in the 23rd minute of play. Samuel de Souza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eulalio Montrel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Márcio Cruz got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Nemesio Cordarell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Vieja Guarida FC and the Atlético-PR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atlético-PR booed when La Vieja Guarida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Jorrin. La Vieja Guarida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Omar Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yang Ke Xun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hilario Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vieja Guarida FC's protests and gave Hilario Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 45th minute of play forced La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Omar Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Jorrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Aritza to make the kick off. Márcio Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Jorrin came out and tried to block the shot, but Márcio Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. If Márcio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Cruz got free with Omar Jorrin in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peng Chao Feng to maneuver through the defense. Atlético-PR made a substitution. Hong Jian Fan replaced Pedrinho Hoffmann. In the 66th minute, Peng Chao Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Hong Jian Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Jorrin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hong Jian Fan in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Atlético-PR's Cyprian Rykaczewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Jorrin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 80th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Jian Fan to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Adolfo Natanael shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Montrel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Omar Jorrin managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Omar Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Jian Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hong Jian Fan in the 86th minute of the match. If Yang Ke Xun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guarida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Rykaczewski came free, but Omar Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético-PR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
