The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Jorrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paes in the 2nd minute of play. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Wellington Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cordarell in the 4th minute of play. La Vieja Guarida FC's Omar Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paes in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guarida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Kolbe came free, but Omar Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the La Vieja Guarida FC defense, Jaroslaw Kolbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Jorrin. The La Vieja Guarida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Jorrin should have stopped the shot. Cleto Rodas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Wellington Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Adolfo Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Natanael showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Omar Jorrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The corner led to Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Alfredinho Faria getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Omar Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Aritza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Fernandes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guarida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paes came free, but Omar Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jaroslaw Kolbe made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Pedro Paes got a free kick in the 50th minute. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Wellington Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Cordarell in the 55th minute of play. When Cleto Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vieja Guarida FC's protests and gave Cleto Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to La Vieja Guarida FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonides Ekain hit a great ball. Prudencio Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Wellington Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Wellington Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Aritza in the 74th minute of the match. Pedro Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Wellington Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Vieja Guarida FC were furious when Hector Gonsalvo was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. But to his dismay, Jaroslaw Kolbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. played a much better game than La Vieja Guarida FC and deserved their victory. The La Vieja Guarida FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
