With a little luck, JEC - FC's Solustiano Partarroyo got control of the ball when Celedonio Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, JEC - FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Abajas came free, but Solustiano Partarroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, JEC - FC's Julio Baptista got a free kick in the 9th minute. Douglas Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Luisinho Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisinho Abraão hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Salomon Gonzáles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Solustiano Partarroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solustiano Partarroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Dellasierra hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, JEC - FC's Luisinho Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Rajoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JEC - FC reached it. In the 25th minute Alexandre Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Rajoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Julio Baptista heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Solustiano Partarroyo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Celedonio Duarte sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Celedonio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Solustiano Partarroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JEC - FC's Solustiano Partarroyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save JEC - FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Alabern to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Herminio Abajas made the kick off in the second half. Solustiano Partarroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Gonzáles in the 52nd minute of the match. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabino Alabern in the 53rd minute. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Sabino Alabern was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Solustiano Partarroyo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Julio Baptista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Rogelio Rajoi. Rogelio Rajoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Celedonio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Solustiano Partarroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Herminio Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Solustiano Partarroyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute Braulio Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Rajoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Braulio Toli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rogelio Rajoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Douglas Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Abajas in the 73rd minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Solustiano Partarroyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salomon Gonzáles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Solustiano Partarroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Abajas in the 77th minute of play. JEC - FC's Solustiano Partarroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josepe Puyol in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th play minute Julio Baptista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rogelio Rajoi. 1-3. 97 minutes into the match, JEC - FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Abajas came free, but Solustiano Partarroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JEC - FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
