The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Adolfo Valentine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nina fc and the Atlético-PR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Nina fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Valentine to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Atlético-PR got a freekick which was hit by Yang Ke Xun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Cruz in the 6th minute of play forced Nina fc's goalkeeper Lucio Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Lucio Hernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perivaldo Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Eulalio Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lucio Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Sampaio went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Atlético-PR fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedrinho Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lucio Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético-PR.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Hoffmann made a kick off. Perivaldo Sampaio had several of the Nina fc's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Lucio Hernandez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lucio Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes, Pedrinho Hoffmann made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Hernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Hernandez having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Nina fc got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Silvanito. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Márcio Cruz got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 minutes, Márcio Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético-PR and the Nina fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hong Jian Fan in the 95th minute. When the match was over Atlético-PR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nina fc throughout the match.
