The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Honrio got free with Laurențiu Gaciu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Jeremias Natal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurențiu Gaciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Jeremias Natal fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.del.U FC's protests and gave Jeremias Natal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Jeremias Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeremias Natal came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the C.del.U FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Natal couldn't finish the play. In the 41stth minute of the game Fábio Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.del.U FC's Eleuterio Daunte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Exército Português's Fábio Braga in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.del.U FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Exército Português booed when C.del.U FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Gaciu made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ceferino Mel sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gaciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Mel.

The wind increased when Josué Granja made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Martin Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gaciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Honrio in the 58th minute of play. C.del.U FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exército Português the free kick. Laurențiu Gaciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Mel went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Mel came free, but Laurențiu Gaciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Dantas during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
