Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Hayes in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Viper's Eduardo Hayes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurențiu Gaciu. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Exército Português's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gaciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Viper's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacek Lewandowski in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jacek Lewandowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laurențiu Gaciu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Laurențiu Gaciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Augusto Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Laurențiu Gaciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Marosz in the 28th minute of play. Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Exército Português from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Eduardo Hayes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurențiu Gaciu. Exército Português's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Hayes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

Lucjan Peczkowski scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurențiu Gaciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 minutes, Eduardo Hayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Viper and the Exército Português players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Hayes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Viper's Eduardo Hayes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Eduardo Hayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gaciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Hayes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Gaciu. Laurențiu Gaciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Lages during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Kevin Lages hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurențiu Gaciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Peczkowski in the 82nd minute of the match. Laurențiu Gaciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Peczkowski went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Eduardo Hayes got in the 91st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Laurențiu Gaciu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Tymoteusz Olejniczak hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Viper had played much better football throughout.
