The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nic Kints the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MagicTeam protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nic Kints had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, SE Palmeiras's Basílio do Valle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Will Lievens. 22 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Berten Wouqier came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
