Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodoro Bezerra kicked off to start the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Bezerra in the 5th minute of play. Artemio Tibalt hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Procopio in the 12th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Field went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Bezerra in the 18th minute of play. If Van Field had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shark FC - FSCMZ's Teodoro Bezerra in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute Edgard Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Field in the 33rd minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Quintan in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Edgard Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Godfredo Salomone hit a great ball. Augusto Procopio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Procopio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Procopio got free with Glauco Velloso in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Quintan in the 53rd minute of play. Glauco Velloso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field. But to his dismay, Van Field quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Godfredo Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 67 minutes SOUTH THUNDER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rui Mandrak who took care of the corner kick. In the 69th minute of the match Shark FC - FSCMZ got a corner. SOUTH THUNDER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rui Mandrak ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 76 minutes of play, SOUTH THUNDER's Edgard Quintan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glauco Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Van Field in the 80th minute of the match. Glauco Velloso came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio. But to his dismay, Augusto Procopio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 86th minute, Augusto Procopio made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Velloso. Shark FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 90th minute, Edgard Quintan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 93rd minute, Van Field hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SOUTH THUNDER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
