Serafim Bittencourt started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Edgard Quintan made a precise shot to the right of Mateus de Senna. Juventus EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Van Field cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mateus de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mauro Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Van Field to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Raymond to maneuver through the defense. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Urbano in the 22nd minute of play. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Valadares in the 23rd minute of play. Serafim Bittencourt took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Cordearo. Mauro Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Procopio in the 30th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SOUTH THUNDER from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd match minute, Juventus EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Urbano to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Mauro Cordearo managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Juventus EC's Serafim Bittencourt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Juventus EC defense, Augusto Procopio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus de Senna. The Juventus EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus de Senna should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Edgard Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Juventus EC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Rocha. The Juventus EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SOUTH THUNDER were winning 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Van Field to strike the kick off in the second half. Van Field's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Mateus de Senna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mateus de Senna was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Edgard Quintan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgard Quintan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Van Field could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Mateus de Senna made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Eriberto Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus EC and the SOUTH THUNDER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eriberto Rocha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Romário da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goalkeeper Mateus de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Procopio. Mateus de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Van Field in the 65th minute. Mateus de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Procopio in the 70th minute of the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Bittencourt in the 72nd minute of play. Edgard Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Quintan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateus de Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 85th minute, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateus de Senna. Mateus de Senna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-8. Mateus de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as SOUTH THUNDER's Edgard Quintan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateus de Senna. That made the score 2-9 after 90 minutes of play. When Juventus EC's Serafim Bittencourt in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal.
