Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Van Field started the match with the kick off. If Edgard Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Van Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Augusto Procopio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Loramendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Procopio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Enzo Diaz made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italia's Mauro Jon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Van Field got free with Higinio Loramendi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Procopio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Higinio Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. After 29 minutes of play, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Loramendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ralondo in the 34th minute of play. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Leheren in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Procopio in the 39th minute of play forced Italia's goalkeeper Higinio Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Loramendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Braulio Nalo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Italia's protests and gave Braulio Nalo a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Nalo. Augusto Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Loramendi having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Leheren to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Italia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER. Augusto Procopio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Higinio Loramendi. 4-0. 56 minutes into the match, Van Field notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Italia's Higinio Loramendi. Higinio Loramendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Loramendi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field. But to his dismay, Van Field quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a little luck, SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo got control of the ball when Cristo Leheren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Sebastian Vistruario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUTH THUNDER the free kick. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edgard Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Van Field in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Higinio Loramendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Zeledon Teofilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Higinio Loramendi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Procopio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Edgard Quintan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After 83 minutes of play, SOUTH THUNDER's Augusto Procopio made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Loramendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Augusto Procopio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Loramendi. Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Procopio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Van Field struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Higinio Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOUTH THUNDER. In the 93rd minute, Augusto Procopio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. There was no doubt that SOUTH THUNDER were the better team. SOUTH THUNDER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
