Average Joes's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Rolandsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Fagrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Per Rolandsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elliot Fagrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Per Rolandsson sped through PP Plessydask's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elliot Fagrell. Elliot Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Rolandsson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Filip Flink made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Fagrell. PP Plessydask's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Average Joes fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Average Joes's Arthur Saba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Yavuz Bülent Özger hit a great ball. Niklas Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Kasper Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Average Joes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Bodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Average Joes's Nils-Emil Gulliksson was substituted for Lukas Bäckman. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Rolandsson to make the kick off. In the 69th minute, Pål Askestät left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Average Joes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 73rd minute, but Elliot Fagrell got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving PP Plessydask hanging dry this time. Per Rolandsson took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliot Fagrell. Elliot Fagrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Average Joes's Jeremias Silban was substituted for Per Rolandsson. In the 84th minute, Jeremias Silban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliot Fagrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. In the 87th minute, Pål Askestät ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliot Fagrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. PP Plessydask's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Pål Askestät scored to the left of an out of position Elliot Fagrell, making the score, 0-16. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Silban in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliot Fagrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Average Joes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
