Edgard Quintan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Rossi came free, but Desiderio Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Van Field's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Van Field sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes Botinho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Procopio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SOUTH THUNDER's corner Zeledon Teofilio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hílton Magalhães quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Van Field was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Van Field in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute SOUTH THUNDER were awarded a corner. Augusto Procopio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Zeledon Teofilio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hílton Magalhães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 62nd minute of play. Augusto Procopio made a great header on SOUTH THUNDER's corner, it was just that Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Van Field's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 72nd match minute, Botinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Field in the 79th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Endura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Rossi's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
