If Marco Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hílton Magalhães made a huge save. Marco Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Judas Icardi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães got control of the ball when Abelardo Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardinho Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Ignacio Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Judas Icardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Rossi made a great header on Botinho FC's corner, it was just that Fcion C.A.'s Judas Icardi managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Guillelme in the 66th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Ignacio Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Guillelme in the 79th minute of play. Marco Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Judas Icardi having to make a save. After 84 played minutes, Fcion C.A.'s Ignacio Guillelme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fcion C.A. reached it. In the 95th minute Ignacio Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
