Olympiacos FC's Anastasios Perakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Garate in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Panos Loukas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympiacos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villawalter City the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Prats in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasios Perakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Villawalter City fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Villawalter City's Victorio Prats looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd match minute, Villawalter City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baraxil Macías to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, Olympiacos FC's Giorgos Soufleris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abundio Bastida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympiacos FC reached it. During the 45th minute of the match Panos Loukas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Panos Loukas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Panos Loukas hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theofilos Touboulis made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Gudesteo Elias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villawalter City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gudesteo Elias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Perakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Victorio Prats could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Anastasios Perakis however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dimitris Koudas hit a great ball. Olympiacos FC's Anastasios Perakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Garate in the 64th minute of play. Anastasios Perakis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Baraxil Macías sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes Villawalter City got a freekick which was hit by Bernabel Lama. In the 73rd minute of the match Panos Ntountas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abundio Bastida skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Baraxil Macías fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anastasios Perakis, passed just outside the right post. Anastasios Perakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Garate in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gudesteo Elias hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute John Garate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Perakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olympiacos FC's Anastasios Perakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. Villawalter City played a much better game than Olympiacos FC and deserved their victory. The Olympiacos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
