The referee showed Ronaldo Espírito Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Vigário in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Rânceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Vigário in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigore Rânceanu saved Steaua Bucuresti -MM- from getting behind. If Manuel Vigário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grigore Rânceanu. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play.

A collision led to Steaua Bucuresti -MM- getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dorel Şteţ hit a great ball. Manuel Vigário struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Grigore Rânceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altamora FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Năstase during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Steaua Bucuresti -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costel Năstase. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Vigário in the 58th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Julião Amaro. A hard shot by Dragoş Mustea from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Alípio Franco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Alípio Franco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 81 minutes of play, Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grigore Rânceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
