Ermegildo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Gane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estación Q.'s Ermegildo Ixona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Estación Q. from getting a goal against them. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Grigore Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Nayely in the 28th minute of play. If Dragoş Mustea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Ixona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Gane in the 31st minute. Dragoş Mustea scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Ixona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Steaua Bucuresti -MM- getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Horia Ielciu hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Steaua Bucuresti -MM- defense, Jairo Telmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Rânceanu. The Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Rânceanu should have stopped the shot. Silvio Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Grigore Rânceanu made a huge save. The Estación Q. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Steaua Bucuresti -MM- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
