In the 3rd minute, Manuel Vigário made a precise shot to the right of Traian Pantea. Ares FC -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alípio Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.J Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Altamora FC's Alípio Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.J Ares in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Chihaia in the 12th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Alípio Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traian Pantea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Vigário in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Manuel Vigário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Arosculesei in the 20th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Alípio Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Isidro Contera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes, Aristide Chihaia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ares FC -MM- and the Altamora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Chihaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when J.J Ares came free, but Alípio Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Traian Pantea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vigário in the 29th minute of play. Radu Arapașu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Arapașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ares FC -MM-'s Radu Arapașu got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Traian Pantea. Traian Pantea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 36 minutes into the game, Radu Arapașu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Altamora FC's Filipe Águas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Vigário got free with Traian Pantea in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Manuel Vigário managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Vigário was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Traian Pantea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. J.J Ares was the one to do the kick off. Ares FC -MM-'s Traian Pantea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vigário in the 53rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Altino Vilanova put in a rough tackle. Altamora FC:s Alípio Franco showed great skill when he stopped Aristide Chihaia:s penalty. In the 56th minute, Aristide Chihaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 58th minute, Alex Iorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. J.J Ares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alípio Franco made a huge save. Radu Arapașu made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Altamora FC's Filipe Águas. If Sidónio Carvalhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidónio Carvalhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Buceceanu got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Radu Arapașu. Traian Pantea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Carvalhal in the 85th minute of play. Isidro Contera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altamora FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
