Ivan Pășcuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edinho da Rocha made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the match, Nichifor Barbălată tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edinho da Rocha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Wesley Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Tănăsie came free, but Edinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
