Anacleto Costante came out and tried to block the shot, but Alix Vance slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 39th minute. If Yuri Djorkaeff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton Xavier came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anacleto Costante could save by the left post. Anacleto Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Vance in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Txeru to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliézer da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Costante having to interfere. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Coelho during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaudencio Matro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sergio Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anacleto Costante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Clube Audax Metropolitano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
