Nicodim Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 2nd minute of play. Krzysztof Kluska scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Ghiondea came free, but Stefan Ciempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Ciempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Aalexoaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu got control of the ball when Krzysztof Kluska tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zielonka Gdansk's Gilbert Marchewka got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertas Lewandowski in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Kluska got free with Nicodim Arghirescu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Zielonka Gdansk's Nicodim Arghirescu threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Bykowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th match minute, Zielonka Gdansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Gdowik to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Aalexoaiei came free, but Stefan Ciempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zielonka Gdansk's Robertas Lewandowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robertas Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Kluska was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zielonka Gdansk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpathian Wolves the free kick. After 56 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Kluska. Codrin Aalexoaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Ciempa having to interfere. With a little luck, Zielonka Gdansk's Stefan Ciempa got control of the ball when Codrin Aalexoaiei tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sabin Ciomag kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Zielonka Gdansk's Zachariasz Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Kluska in the 69th minute of play. Robertas Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Roger Duggan's late challenge caught a Zielonka Gdansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Duggan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Roger Duggan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Krzysztof Kluska made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Doru Ghiondea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Krzysztof Kluska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Zielonka Gdansk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
