The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horácio Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Horácio Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Tender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Pernambucano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Damian Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Favoretto in the 84th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Albert Panaitoiu in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Damian Tender was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Joaquim Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4.
