Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Emil Zacharzewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute Janusz Jucha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Elivélton Sarmento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Jucha in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Karol Osowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauan Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubinho Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Jaworski in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Tolek Jaworski made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Sarmento. Janusz Jucha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rubinho Couto made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Pernambucano in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Zacharzewski saved FC Blaugrana Kraków from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Jaworski got free with Rubinho Couto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Pernambucano in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Leões do Sul 53's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janusz Jucha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 91st minute, Leões do Sul 53's Dedé Almeida seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dedé Almeida the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Leões do Sul 53 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dedé Almeida had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
