After 4 minutes of play, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Abdulkerim Rasim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Strzelczyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Faruk Akar took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Strzelczyk. Alexander Strzelczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to AN&KARASİPAHİLER getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sertaç Cansefa hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Balder Heintges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atakan Enfa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alexander Strzelczyk made a huge save. Alexander Strzelczyk came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Abdulkerim Rasim. But to his dismay, Abdulkerim Rasim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ali Faruk Akar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Strzelczyk having to interfere. Bumin Erçin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klemens Hugo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Bumin Erçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Zimmert in the 37th minute of play. SSV Ulm 1846's Alexander Strzelczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. Alexander Strzelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkerim Rasim, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Çağan Derdiyok's late challenge caught a SSV Ulm 1846's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çağan Derdiyok helped the player get up and apologised. Çağan Derdiyok kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdulkerim Rasim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SSV Ulm 1846's zone, Atakan Enfa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Strzelczyk came out of the goal and Atakan Enfa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Abdulkerim Rasim made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Strzelczyk. SSV Ulm 1846's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 70 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Luka Roth. In the 73rd match minute, AN&KARASİPAHİLER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atakan Enfa to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Strzelczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Faruk Akar in the 79th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toader Kroos during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Toader Kroos. After a rather tough play, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Vacid Yazıcı got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alexander Strzelczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sertaç Cansefa in the 89th minute of the match. SSV Ulm 1846's Hippo Schellenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of AN&KARASİPAHİLER booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balder Heintges didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AN&KARASİPAHİLER fans cheered their team off the field, for while SSV Ulm 1846 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
