The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Raul Jaizki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laslo Geier during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Laslo Geier. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Zimmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Diego Marino. 22 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Abajas came free, but Alexander Strzelczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Strzelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Lucio Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Zimmert in the 44th minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klemens Hugo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Abajas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Strzelczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Toader Kroos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Iraido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Strzelczyk. SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's Laslo Geier got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Laslo Geier off the ground. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laslo Geier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Strzelczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Vicente Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Scalonetos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Strzelczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Abajas in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Abajas in the 83rd minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Alexander Strzelczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klemens Hugo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ahmed Long when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erubiel Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alexander Strzelczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SSV Ulm 1846 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jakob Fricke hit a great ball. Alexander Strzelczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Abajas in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CF Scalonetos had won after a very even match.
