Gonzalo Guillelme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Karim Sifi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Gaizkine. In the 13th minute, Nueva Lepra FC's Alfredo Gaizkine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karim Sifi. Karim Sifi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Gonzalo Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Quispe in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Nueva Lepra FC booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Horna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piero Quispe in the 30th minute of the match. Karim Sifi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Nueva Lepra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Fertus to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nueva Lepra FC booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donat Collier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piero Quispe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Guillelme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 53rd minute Piero Quispe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Sifi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Astigar in the 57th minute of play. When Nueva Lepra FC's Alfredo Gaizkine in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Remigio Gabrio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karim Sifi. Nova Soccer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Lepra FC's zone, Piero Quispe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Guillelme came out of the goal and Piero Quispe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Mišković to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Nueva Lepra FC's Edgardo Corderun in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Lucas Horna charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Horna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nueva Lepra FC booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Horna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Manuel Vargas made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and José Luis Carranza immediately put the ball in play. In the 94th match minute, Nueva Lepra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. The Nova Soccer supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nova Soccer would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
